$19 a monthBookkeeping and cost per mile
Who it suits. One to three trucks who mainly need to know their numbers.
If that is the whole problem, this is cheaper than us and it has been doing it since 2010.

We sell one of these, so read it with that in mind. What follows is what a small carrier actually pays today, the real options with their published prices, and the cases where you should buy something else—including ours being one of them.
| Job | Usually | A month | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Load board | DAT, Truckstop | $35–339 | Finding freight |
| ELD and telematics | Motive, Samsara | $25–50 a truck | Hours, location, required by law |
| TMS / dispatch | TruckingOffice, Tailwind, Truckbase | $25–299 | Loads, drivers, paperwork |
| Books | QuickBooks plus a trucking layer | $30–200 | Invoices and taxes |
| Maintenance | Fleetio and similar | $4–10 a vehicle | Service history, defects |
| Compliance | Filing services, OOIDA | $20–60 | IFTA, DQ files, renewals |
A ten-truck carrier commonly lands somewhere between $900 and $1,850 a monthacross these, before factoring. The cost people miss is not the licences—it is the hours spent moving the same load between five systems that do not talk.
Bookkeeping and cost per mile
Who it suits. One to three trucks who mainly need to know their numbers.
If that is the whole problem, this is cheaper than us and it has been doing it since 2010.
TMS with IFTA
Who it suits. Owner-operators and small fleets wanting dispatch plus fuel tax in one place.
Priced by trucks rather than seats, 30-day trial, no contract. A sensible first TMS.
TMS for small fleets and brokers
Who it suits. Small fleets doing both carrier and brokerage work.
Per-user pricing gets expensive once your dispatcher and bookkeeper both need logins.
Dispatch
Who it suits. Roughly 5 to 50 trucks moving off spreadsheets.
Well liked for being easy to pick up. Pricing is quoted rather than listed.
ELD, telematics, safety
Who it suits. Anyone who needs a compliant ELD, which is nearly everyone.
Not an alternative to us — you need one of these regardless. Read the term: Samsara's standard fleet plans run multi-year with the balance owed if you leave early.
Load board
Who it suits. Anyone running spot freight.
Also not an alternative. Keep it. We read from your seat, we do not replace it.
Prices as published in August 2026 and they move. Check before you buy, and check the contract length as well as the number.
Inteleri is not another box on that list. It is the argument that the list itself is the problem—that the handoffs between those systems are where the money goes, and that no single one of them can fix a handoff by definition. One system runs the work, so it knows your real cost per mile, and because it knows that it can tell you what is coming for the lanes you run.
$99 a truck, dropping as you add trucks, everything included, no per-seat charge and no contract. Against a stack at $900–1,850 for ten trucks, we come out at about $890.
If the thing that actually bothers you is that none of your tools know what the others know—and that you find out in March which lane was losing money—that is the problem we built for.
